Please note Irene Diary Farm do not allow any food or beverages to be brought onto the farm, we have a wonderful array of options available for you to choose from.
Enjoy a lovely picnic while the kids play on the jungle gym, if you did not order one of our custom made picnic baskets (click for picnic basket content), feel free to walk around our farm shop and create your own picnic from our deli. You are more than welcome to bring your own blanket.
For groups who wish to have a picnic lunch, we will set up your picnic order in a buffet style set up.

Taking Photos on Irene Farm

The Irene Farm is a photographer’s dream – there’s never a dull moment as new life blooms in every field – we completely understand this. In fact, we don’t just understand it, we celebrate it!
But because we get many keen photographers showing up at the Farm, we’ve decided to institute a community development programme around it. So if you’d like to come and take photos on the Irene Farm, whether you’re just posing for pics or doing the photographing yourself, we ask that you make a donation to the Irene Homes prior to coming.
Irene Homes is a home for the mentally disabled, and is a longstanding foundation in the Irene community. We ask that you make a donation of R300 (or more if you would like) to the Homes for every photography outing.
This way you get to take some beautiful snaps, as well as help out the community!
