Young Cows

(2 to 3 year olds): These teenagers are almost ready to join the herd. When they reach 3 years old the farmer artificially inseminates them so that once they have had their first calf they may join the milking herd. Wonder how old these cows are? Well the first number on their behinds is the year they were born and the second number is the number sequence in which they were born. These markings are added to their behinds when they are old enough or rather, when their behinds get big enough!
